Benji Builders rescued me after I had to fire my first contractor for misleading me about the steps and costs of taking down a load bearing wall. I bought a duplex and did a significant remodel. Full redo of kitchen and two bathrooms. We found David Benji from a referral and he stepped in with no delay and got the job done. He and his team are problem solvers and they don’t leave you hanging. They show up every day and they listen to your needs and wants and make it happen. If anything is done in a way you are dissatisfied with (which rarely happened) they immediately fixed it. They are fast but thorough. David Benji always responds to calls and texts. The quality of the cabinetry and finishes exceeded our expectations, and his coordination made the whole process seamless. As someone who works in residential architecture, I interact with contractors and subs daily. It's rare to find someone as respectful, honest, and detail-oriented as David. Being a woman in the building industry, I’ve unfortunately come across my fair share of dismissive or condescending attitudes—but David is the exact opposite. He’s professional, kind, and truly listens. He remembered every conversation and every small request I made along the way, which speaks volumes about how much care he puts into his work. This was our first home purchase, and we were understandably nervous taking on a full renovation with limited time and budget. But David made us feel supported throughout the entire process.
