David is INCREDIBLE! He built an amazing pool house and porch with a bbq for us. He’s efficient, trustworthy, cost conscious, has a professional crew, and listened to what we wanted. We were so happy that we’ve continued to use him for all of our home improvements since.
I had terrible experience with previous contractor for my last project ,since then I was very hesitated to hire any contractor to do my kitchen remodeling including my bathroom, after a lot of research on Google, I decided to give a shot to Benji builders and I am so happy I met David. We were introduced to David through our realtor after purchasing a triplex that needed a full remodel—floors, paint, kitchens, bathrooms—the works. On top of that, we had an incredibly tight deadline, needing to move out of our existing place within a month. From the very beginning, David was prompt, responsive, and solution-oriented. He prepared a bid quickly and made it clear that he understood both the scope of work and the urgency of our timeline. Throughout the process, David was communicative and always available for questions or calls. He kept us in the loop every step of the way, and even when unexpected things came up—as they always do—he addressed them with calm professionalism, reasonable recommendations, and zero pressure. He would provide pricing clearly so we could make informed decisions, but never pushed for add-ons or unnecessary costs. In fact, he often took care of little things outside the original scope just because they needed to be done. His crew was equally impressive—punctual, respectful, and hardworking. We were honestly blown away by how much they were able to accomplish in such a short period of time. When I worried we might not make the deadline, David reassured me with confidence and, sure enough, everything was completed in time. One of the standout aspects of working with David is his ability to manage both time and budget without cutting corners. He works closely with a cabinet sub for kitchens and bathrooms, and their turnaround time was incredibly fast. The quality of the cabinetry and finishes exceeded our expectations, and his coordination made the whole process seamless. As someone who works in residential architecture, I interact with contractors and subs daily. It's rare to find someone as respectful, honest, and detail-oriented as David. Being a woman in the building industry, I’ve unfortunately come across my fair share of dismissive or condescending attitudes—but David is the exact opposite. He’s professional, kind, and truly listens. He remembered every conversation and every small request I made along the way, which speaks volumes about how much care he puts into his work.
